Critical Minerals Portfolio: Led by Copper

Mount Isa Minerals (M1M), is a future-facing explorer for critical minerals. Driven by the global megatrends of the Energy Transition and Data Evolution (AI), our portfolio is strategically positioned to secure the supply chains of the 21st century.

Located in a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction directly adjacent to Mount Isa and its associated processing infrastructure.

Copper: The Engine of Electrification

Copper is the cornerstone of the decarbonisation revolution. With global demand projected to double by 2050, M1M is aggressively advancing 13 walk-up, drill-ready targets over a significant 20-kilometre mineralised strike length.

  • Geological Scale: Our project is interpreted as a large-scale Iron Oxide Copper-Gold (IOCG) system, analogous to world-class assets such as Olympic Dam and Ernest Henry.
  • Discovery Evidence: Systematic drilling at the Frida Prospect has confirmed in situ mineralisation with high-grade intercepts, including 3m @ 1.02% Cu and 3.93 g/t Ag from 28m.
  • Data Advantage: We leverage an extensive database of of historical drilling, which is being repurposed to identify concealed orebodies across our 352km2 footprint.

Uranium: Clean Energy Baseload

Nuclear energy is re-emerging as a critical low-carbon solution for global energy security. M1M holds a strategic asset that provides immediate baseline value to our portfolio.

  • Established JORC Resource: We maintain an Inferred JORC Mineral Resource of 2.9 Mt @ 440 ppm U3O8, containing 2.87 million pounds of uranium oxide.
  • Exploration Upside: Key prospects, such as Bambino, remain open at depth, offering significant potential for resource expansion through targeted deeper drilling.
  • Market Context: With spot prices rebounding above US$100/lb in 2024, our uranium assets are ideally positioned to meet a tightening global market.

The Mica-Rocks Project
(Gallium, Niobium, Rubidium)

Securing technology metals outside of traditional monopolies is a matter of both national and corporate importance. Our occurrences of Mica-Rocks Project targets the “lifeblood” minerals of the semiconductor and 5G industries.

  • Gallium (Ga): M1M hosts a potentially significant global occurrence of gallium within outcropping micas over a 9 km strike length, with recent sampling returning grades up to 158 ppm.
  • Rubidium (Rb) & Niobium (Nb): Strong geochemical correlations show elevated concentrations of rubidium (up to 3,450 ppm) and niobium – essential for high-strength alloys and advanced electronics.
  • Strategic Security: With 96% of global gallium currently produced in China, M1M offers a critical alternative supply for Western trade partners.

Beryllium: High-Value Defence Asset

Beryllium is one of the rarest industrial metals, prized in the aerospace and defence sectors for its extreme stiffness-to-weight ratio.

  • Historical Resource: The Big River Prospect contains a historical resource of 112,885 tonnes @ 0.15% BeO.
  • Pathway to Production: M1M plans to fast-track this asset toward a modern JORC resource and commercialisation, targeting a market value of approximately US$800 per kilogram.

Mount Isa Quartz: The “Mine-to-Solar” Deal

A standalone priority for M1M is the Mount Isa Quartz Joint Venture with Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners.

This strategic collaboration is designed to bypass the traditional explorer lifecycle and move M1M via Mount isa Quartz rapidly into commercialization and into the industrial supply chain.

  • Vertical Integration: The JV aims to establish Queensland’s first domestic polysilicon supply chain. M1M will provide high-purity quartz (HPQ) feedstock for Quinbrook’s proposed state-of-the-art silicon smelter in Townsville.
  • Exceptional Purity: Outcrops at Eureka and May Downs have returned assays ranging from 99.5% to 99.9% SiO2, exceeding specifications for both metallurgical-grade silica and high-purity applications.
  • Fast Track to Revenue: Backed by a confirmed funding agreement, production is targeted to commence between Late 2027 and Q1 2028, generating immediate cash flow to fund our broader copper and critical minerals pipeline.
